Greetings from England, UK. This song actually reminds me of my Grandad. Owned a shop for most of his life, grandma worked in a factory to pack ice cream. They had a modest house and never drove fancy cars. They paid their way and didn't ask for much. When my mother bought a Mercedes he smiled just like in the video, maybe bemused. He passed away young at the age of 67 and they took him away in a Jaguar. This video reminds me of exactly that moment.

Sad that they were taken off the list of performers at Illinois State Fair... Great Music and no racism... would gladly buy tickets to your show in Tennessee.

Sucks they were recently banned from playing in an Illinois fair due to their band's name. Political correctness gone bad!

This song came out 2 months before my grandpa passed. He'd been a mechanic owned his own garage for years. He never owned a new car. My cousins and I all decided since he never owned or probably rode in a cadillac. Robert who's 5 years older than me decided grandpa's last ride should be in his pickup not some hearse. So when we carried him out of the funeral home Robert backed his old ford p/u next to the hearse. The funeral director had a major hissy fit, we told him to back off. The funeral procession followed us to the cemetary with Robert behind the wheel and the rest of his pallbearers in the back of the truck.

This song describes my dad to a T. My dad never owned a Cadillac, he never wanted the best clothes, he wanted to make sure his family was provided for, he was a simple man who loved God and loved his family, and wanted them best for them, often sacrificing things he'd like for his family. Love and Miss him...this Nov. will be 2 years since he passed. He was a great man who taught me so much.

I grew up in the coal area of the north. Poor. Chevy trucks. Five kids. Log house. This song speaks for a proud segment in our country. Let's not forget...
