The more I listen to Brownie's first solo on this recording - and I've been listening to it for over 30 years - the more I'm coming around to considering that Brownie pretty much picked up where Fats - PBUH - left off. I mean, Brownie is just cookin in this recording. Jeeze, what a privilege to be alive and able to listen to this. Thank you for posting!

i love everything trumpet player Clifford Brown ever recorded and think of him as the jazz Mozart, both dying way too young and probably had some of there most creative years ahead , sadly enough.
