A hot summer day. The AC doesn't work. Your window is open, light filtering through the blinds. A fan is running, moving hot air around your room. It's too hot to do anything, to move, almost too hot to breathe. You lay there on top of the covers, head to the foot of the bed flat on your back, in a state of undress, the sun beating down on your window, as you blearily stare at your fan waiting for sleep to take you. You shift to soggily try to get comfortable. The blanket sticks to you.
That is exactly what this song feels like to me.
