5:47 Is that Joe Zawinul (former keyboardist leader of former jazz fusion group Weather Report, also included amazing sax player Wayne Shorter and creative bass player Jaco Pastorius ) playing that sort of saxophone with electronic keys rather than valves ?

Great performance, great video! In 1989, we had dreams about walls crumbling - after the Iron Curtain and the Berlin Wall had been torn down, I was hoping that the walls between classical and contemporary music would be torn down, too. Gulda was one of the few who performed on a stellar level in both worlds - and built bridges. This video beautifully shows that music does not need to be more than 200 years old in order to be considered "good" music. Still, concert halls tend to be either classical or popular, only very seldom: a venue for good 21st century music
