I have never ever heard of a two-guitar solo where one plays down, the other up and then they meet each other .... man alive not only is this musical genius it was then way ahead of its time and still holds it today! ... Brilliant ... absolutely bloody BRILLIANT!

This was my Dad's funeral song. He chose this when he knew he was losing his battle with lung cancer. It means a lot!

Reminds me of my father who showed me this song 25 years ago.

I think this is one of the most beautiful guitar solo in history of rock music. Unfortunately, still so unknow and underrated... Absolute masterpiece!

I've never even heard of Wishbone Ash until today. Their music is gorgeous! Prog rock bands are pretty hit-or-miss, either they're amazing or they're terrible. I love moments like these when all that searching pays off! :)

This whole album really is one of the very finest achievements in rock music.

This song is so badass, the twin guitars just melt me with emotion starting at 3:40, then 4:53 omg it makes me want to cry. This is what Steve Harris had in mind when he founded Iron Maiden. Maiden pays homage to these guys, Wishbone Ash is so freakin' great!

Epic song about the futility of war. The twin lead solo at 3:39 is, in my mind, the finest, smoothest rock guitar solo of all time.

Thanks to maiden and steve harris to point this particular album as a main influence. This is a stunning achievement. Love it.

I've always said that Argus is one of the top 5 rock albums ever recorded, and nothing I've heard since has made me change my mind. It is total perfection from every instrument on every track.

I bought this album 42 years ago...........and I still get shivers down my spine when listening to the twin lead solo in Throw down the sword.

Came here to check Steve Harris major influence (I'm an Iron Maiden fan since the '80s) and found this wonderful guitar work. Speechless...

I believe ARGUS is the most complete rock record of all time. Love this track. The album has electric, acoustic and great storytelling.

I think this is my favourite song of all time.
