Loved Thee Midniters. Great band. Just another example of the crossover we were blessed to enjoy with all of our brothers and sisters back in the day.

Listening to this brings back memories of those carefree, happy, daze of hanging out on the Blvd. Place to be on the weekends. We rode in my 58 Chevy to 8 track cassettes. Just texting about it brings a smile to my face...I LOVE THOSE YOUNG BOY DAZE !!

Finally another movie that Mexican Americans can be proud of McFarland U.S.A starring Kevin Costner. The whole cast is great with a soundtrack that includes Thee Midnighters Whittier Blvd.

Man, it does my heart good to hear this one! One of my all-time fave instrumentals from my misspent youth! I remember the insane intro to this one. Dig the bassline and the keys. Party on the patio sounds! This is still king tone, baby!

I remember hearing this on KRLA radio in the '60's, when we were bitty boppers and had no idea what cruising was - and've Loved It ever since - owww!
