This was my favorite song a few years ago, and it popped into my head recently. I was going down for what felt like forever, and this song popped into my head. I had to resort to using my jaw, and it hurt. But it worked. Or at least I hope it did. lol

Thank you Nirvana for introducing a whole new generation to the Velvets’ greatness. As much as Nirvana were my favorite band (not the best in the world, that will probably always go to the Beatles), the Velvets are one of those bands that definitely transcend time, and have become one of the greatest bands in history.

I read that this was about the so-called ostrich guitar he would play. Whenever he had a solo he would say "here she comes now", just like he does in Rock And Roll.

this is one of the more unheralded tunes in the VU collection. it sure clicks with me every time i listen, though. i love how particularly moody this song sounds. the nirvana cover is good as well.
