I loved this when it came out. As a kid I just couldn’t get enough of it and the radio obliged. But I also recall being very young when Sputnik was launched, and the race to space was on. I recall standing on my front porch with my older brother and mother, waiting for the Telstar satellite to pass over, visible to the naked eye. It was visible and we saw it. What an exciting time to be alive. From viewing Telstar decades back to watching for iridium flares from the darkened sky on the Outer Banks of NC.
