This makes me want to quit everything I do to go appreciate nature.

I love the bass parts in this song, Troy Sanders is a great bass player.

Is it weird to use this song to make you cry, so you no longer need to be paranoid whether you are a robot or not?

Pfft, this song... just give me chills everytime I listen to it.

"Pursue happiness, with diligence." I'm feelin' that.

goddammit, Brent Hinds is amazing. I'm not even a huge Mastodon fan, but IMO he's the best all-around guitarist in 'modern' metal (like post-2000). he can shred, but his solos always have interesting themes and note choices, and a ton of soul (as cliche as it is to say that)

I hope to one day write a song that sounds similar to this. This is a fucking masterpiece of a ballad.

I just found this band yesterday. They are fulfilling all my musical needs. Amazing Band.

The airy feeling kinda sounds like My Morning Jacket's song Touch Me Im Going To Scream...

The tone reminds me of Hey You a bit before the solo.

Amazing that the last song they wrote for this album (ostensibly for filler) becomes the most powerful track. It's mesmerizing and always affects me viscerally every time I listen to it.

People love to hate on the Hunter (even OMATS) because it's not remissions, but come on the musicianship gets better and better with every album. In my opinion this is a great fucking album.
