It made me angry when I read what happened to Willie John at his trial and then his sentencing. Some people just get crapped on from the day they are born. He was a man who should have been released to freedom who was instead locked up for years and years and years and then died under very, very disturbing, uncertain circumstances. No one even knows how he died or the cause of his death.

these singers from back then were not just singers they were artist who painted with there voices ,like renoit and monet , these old doo wop and R&B songs are of the same caliber as those artist paintings in terms of expressionism and sentimentality , thats the reason why i mostly only listen to music from this era ...These people were artist , not singers , or entertainers
