I am not sure why it is important to rank guitarists or arrangements of songs. I have 50 favorite guitarists all for different reasons. I also enjoy at least 6 different versions of Bo Diddley's Who Do You Love. I don't need one to be better than the others. Just a thought.

In my opinion, this was one of the greatest guitar driven albums in rock history. As a learning tool for a beginning guitarist, you had the advantage of Rick Derringer coming out of the left channel and Johnny Winter coming out of the right channel, making it easy to decipher all of the guitar parts on the entire recording.

Johnny's singing has astonishing power for a man who was so slight of physical stature. An overachiever on many levels, dearly missed.

It was a truly inspired idea for Rick Derringer to add female backup singers when he re-released this song, but the guitar solo on this version is just friggin' un-touchable. God bless you, Johnny Winter!

I would have loved to see Johnny Winter join the Allman Brothers after Duanne Allman died.

the guitar in the left channel is Rick Derringer and the guitar in the right channel is Johnny Winter. No overdubbing was needed to create one of the greatest rock guitar songs ever.
