Too bad if there were to be another draft, too bad for the taliban, whom I am led to believe are all of the muslim faith, it's too bad there is insecurity in world peace if we weren't to be there in another country to police it, cause if we weren't there it it would......and who knows how far it would go before things get out of hand. thanks for posting this wonderful stirring song from Johnny Burnette, just passed the anniversary of his passing in a drowning accident in 1964.

I have always loved this song and wish that it was once again the basic fundamental of our country. Thanks to Johnny Burnette and all those who have served God, Country and our Babies.

Thanks for posting it Barry! A great song, that was done by Chico Holiday on Coral Records around 1959 as well. Not sure who did the original. It could have been him. As I listen to it, it had to be during the 2nd. World War. Anyone have the history on this? Dowop 4
