When my 4 year old asks to hear the 'Chicken on my Head" song.. I'm the only person that understands that he wants to hear some Joe Jackson.

Anthrax actually didn't change much about the song besides making it heavier. The two songs don't sound that different.

Damn, I prefer the bass solo here 1:53 But love both versions. I wish there were tabs for it, I can only find any for the anthrax version :/

OK, I asume there are people out there who prefer Anthrax's version. But we gotta give credit to Joe Jackson.

One of the few literally flawless rock albums.

l always knew the Anthrax version and it was a Joe Jackson song. l had never heard the original until today. Pretty cool, Anthrax made it just a bit heavier.

Interesting how all the metal fans acknowledge that both versions are great but very few of the non-metal fans do the same. Who has the broader appreciation for music?

I'm sorry Joe's got this one, it's tailor-made.

It's kinda funny that the most popular song on Persistence of Time wasn't even an actual Anthrax song. It was just a cover. Anyway great song and great cover.

While I like the Anthrax cover is good, it's not the Joe Jackson original. It's well known fact that Joe Jackson is the man (who gave you the yo-yo).

Anthrax version and this one are both great. The anthrax version is heavier and a bit faster. Plus the bass sounds better in my opinion in the Anthrax version.

Cannot believe that for all these decades I had no idea the Anthrax version was a cover. I own Joe Jackson vinyl, just not this. Wow. Never too late to learn.

If Anthrax's version didn't exist, this would still be considered Joe Jackson's heavy metal song. Just as Helter Skelter was The Beatles metal song...

Can't believe this Joe Jackson guy covered an Anthrax classic.
