I remember buying this CD in Japan. I went to a jazz cafe afterwards and asked the DJ if he could play it then, He happily said "Oh course." Great music.

This is beautiful. But we Brazilians appreciate you Americans recognizing it as BOSSA NOVA, and not "latin jazz" haha. Thank you and enjoy it!

Understated, evocative and inarguably romantic. What I wouldn't give to hear Stan and Joao and Antonio at an intimate club, laying this beautiful stuff down for a small audience. Time would pass unmarked, no doubt.

I discovered this album 28 years ago and it's still in my top favorites. This is timeless, gorgeous music. RIP and thank you to the great Joao Gilberto.

50 years later and I still am listening to this, my parents played such as this by my crib and that's how my ear was trained and I ended up becoming a musician. If you want your kid to be a music lover play this stuff for sure...........
