There are other believers out here, too. I think Morton was one of the greatest talents in American musc. If he didn't actually invent jazz, he certainly shaped it from various disparate elements. I also think he's one of the most fascinating people who's ever lived. Thanks for posting this and the other videos.
OH MAN do I love your comment. I thought I was the only one who believed JRM had as much to do with the development of early "jass' as Satchmo. JRM's music is so distinctive-you would never confuse this with any other composer/artist. Thanks for your comment and for visiting the 1920s museum.
