Jefferson Airplane don't get enough credit for their influence. I honestly think they're one of the most influential bands ever. Maybe not as much as The Beatles/Stones/Kinks/Who/Zeppelin/Sabbath etc. but their Male/Female harmony vocals were a tremendous influence on psychedelic and folk bands at the time. Just check out early Fairport Convention, The Pentangle, and Amon Düül II.
