Yes, the time is gone but Jack lives on . Chicago, 63rd St. WVON Herb Kent would play this tune and drive us crazy. Who was cooler than Jack back then? If you listen to these old dusties you can go back if only for a few minutes.

KDIA the Lucky 13 used to play this in Oakland. I remember jogging Lake Merritt everyday when I was going to Laney and working at the YMCA on Telegraph, handing out towels. The Raiders used to work out at that gym downstairs. Good memories. Look up "She Shot a hole in My Soul" by clifford curry. another classic.
